Untied Schools Spring

In recent years we have developed our Unified Schools Club. This is a program ran through Special Olympics Maine. Our group started with basketball but has quickly grown to include many different types of events for students. These events offer the opportunity for students to socialize, build friendships, and enjoy being a part of a team. This spring students participated in Unified Bowling which is always a group favorite. Afterwards they went to a dance where students got to bust a move and cut loose. Training started up right after because Mt. Blue hosted the Unified Track and Field event yesterday. These experiences are invaluable for everyone involved and we're looking forward to hosting a Franklin County Bocce Training Day on May 20th for other schools and adult agencies later this month.
