RETIREMENT STRATEGIES FOR YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE

CARE PASSENGER SAFETY

Course Description:   Join “Help Me Grow Maine” for an overview of child passenger safety! Learn how to keep children safe in cars as they grow—from rear-facing infant carriers all the way through booster seats. You’ll hear important highlights of Maine’s car seat laws and have time to get answers to any questions you may have. There is also an option to stay after the workshop for a free car seat check. This workshop is ideal for parents, grandparents, early care and education providers, and anyone who works with young children and families.

EXIT STRATEGIES: FUNERALS, MEMORIALS, AND THE ART OF A GOOD GOODBYE

Course Description: This course offers an overview of the many choices families face when planning for end-of-life care and remembrance. We’ll cover the various options available for cremation care, including different processes and disposition methods. You’ll also learn about funeral and memorial service options, from traditional ceremonies to personalized celebrations of life. The class will empower you to understand and discuss the diverse family choices for end-of-life care and celebrations, helping you make informed decisions that honor individual wishes and family needs.
