Yearbook

The Yearbook will be a creative documentation of the past school year in which all students recognize something of themselves.

Being part of the yearbook staff means that you are a student who wants to express yourself creatively, a student who is passionate about a particular discipline—like photography, writing, or design—and who is ready for the hands-on experience to get better at it.

In this class students get to understand the basics of theme development, design theory, layout techniques, and trying out new, more-advanced aspects of it. Students will learn career-oriented skills, like desktop publishing software and photo editing tools. Skills you might use in becoming a graphic designer, photographer, or a journalist. You will have to meet deadlines and raise funds (sell advertisements) to finance the production of the yearbook.
