Mt. Blue Campus is located about two miles from downtown Farmington. Farmington (zip 04938) is a small, residential town peacefully nestled in the spectacular lakes & mountains region of western Maine, near Sugarloaf and Sunday River and smack in the middle of the best skiing, hiking, kayaking and rafting in the northeast.

The Town of Farmington (pop. 7,500) is world famous as the birthplace of Chester Greenwood, inventor of the earmuff; and of two-time Olympic Gold Medalist snowboarder, Seth Wescott. Seth grew up in a home on the edge of the University of Maine at Farmington campus and he learned to shred at Farmington’s Titcomb Mountain.

Farmington is home to a good number of coffee shops, funky stores, restaurants, banks, bookstores, a multi-screen movie theater, and a whole lot more. If you’re looking for more big-box shopping or dining, Farmington also has a Walmart, Hannaford supermarket, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell / KFC, McDonald’s, BK, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, and other names you might recognize.
