To meet the criteria of the federal No Child Left Behind program (NCLB), Mt Blue RSD must post the following information:

NCLB Legal Notification
Parents have the right to be knowledgeable about the qualifications of their child’s teacher(s).  Under the NCLB Act, section 6311 and regulation 34 C.F.R. § 200.61, parents will be notified by Mt Blue Regional School District if a teacher who has not met the criteria to be designated highly qualified is teaching their child. If a parent wishes to know the status of any of their children’s teachers they may request this information.  MSAD #9 maintains accurate records of the status of all our district teachers in order to have the most highly qualified staff possible.   If you wish to request the Highly Qualified status of your child’s teacher(s), call the Central Office at 778-6571 and speak to Leanne Condon, Director of Curriculum.
